Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, formerly known as BitBoy, was apprehended while live-streaming outside the residence of a former business partner, whom he claims is in possession of his Lamborghini.
Before the YouTube livestream, he announced that he was “going live soon from a very special location.”

Armstrong live-streamed himself at the home of consultant and NFT investor Carlos Diaz, who is believed to have connections to the HIT Network, less than an hour later.
Armstrong launched into a tirade, claiming that Diaz “wanted to kill him” and accusing him of having ties to the Houston mafia.
He shouted, “I’m not scared of you, Carlos.”

At nearly 19 minutes into the stream, Armstrong was confronted by local law enforcement, who asked him if he was carrying a weapon, to which he responded in the negative.
He was then instructed to put down the phone, and the stream goes gloomy for the remaining 17 minutes, although audio can still be heard of a conversation between Armstrong and the police officers.
Armstrong was detained on September 25 at 9:11 p.m. local time and remains incarcerated, according to the Gwinnett County, Georgia, Sheriff’s Office.
Diaz confirmed the presence of Armstrong at Diaz’s residence on September 26.
In late August, Hit Network, which controls the “BitBoy Crypto” brand, severed ties with its public face, Ben Armstrong, citing issues surrounding substance abuse and financial damage to employees.
Various parties involved have subsequently filed and withdrawn several lawsuits.
Armstrong even solicited donations on September 20 to finance his legal battles, infuriating the crypto community.
