One of the biggest tech companies in the world has finally shown off its answer to the recent AI obsession in the tech industry. In particular, Amazon has released Bedrock, a chatbot rival to ChatGPT, similar to the well-known OpenAI creation.
By creating its generative AI system, Amazon is following in the footsteps of both OpenAI and Google. In his second annual letter to shareholders, CEO Andy Jassy also discussed the company’s AI investments.
The tech industry has been discussing the coming of “generative AI.” In particular, the integration and use of these language model-based systems showed how the new technology could be used. Now, a well-known company is joining the race to be the best.
Amazon Announces ChatGPT Rival Bedrock
Amazon has announced that Bedrock will be its answer to ChatGPT. Also, the development will allow the company to compete with systems like OpenAI and similar programs like Google’s Bard. After that, similar features were built into the Amazon ecosystem.
Bedrock will give many generative AI tools to businesses that use Amazon Web Services, which are Amazon’s data services for businesses. Also, the new foundational Bedrock API makes it possible to create chatbots, summaries of the text, and images based on specific prompts.
On the other hand, users of the Bedrock program can change the machine learning foundational model for specific tasks. ChatGPT from OpenAI, on the other hand, is based on the GPT-4 language model. On the other hand, Bedrock users can choose from models like the AI21 Jurassic-2, the Anthropic Claude, and the Amazon Titan.
Amazon’s CEO, Andy Jassy, recently talked about how important it is for the company to put money into AI. In his letter to shareholders, he wrote, “LLMs and Generative AI are going to be a big deal for customers, our shareholders, and Amazon,”
