Amazon Prime Members Enjoy Exclusive Gods Unchained Rewards

Immutable Games has announced that Amazon Prime members can now claim complimentary in-game packets of cards for the online trading card game Gods Unchained.

Prime subscribers can claim the first monthly reward from the Amazon Prime Gaming portal, which includes five Rare Core Packs and one Core Domain Pack.

The promotion will continue for six months, with a new collection of free in-game content available for claim each month, according to a blog post.

The cards in the free packs provided to Amazon Prime subscribers are not tokenized as NFTs, contrary to what an Immutable representative affirmed, even though Gods Unchained is built upon NFTs minted on Immutable X, an Ethereum scaling network. These in-game cards will be linked to the Immutable account of the user.

Nevertheless, they are convertible to NFTs. By “fusing” two or more identical “core” in-game cards, players of Gods Unchained can create a superior NFT variant that is tradeable over the Immutable X network.

Thus, although Amazon is not currently distributing NFTs, participants may still have the opportunity to acquire NFTs through the offering.

Several NFT games, including NFL Rivals, Mojo Melee, Brawlers, and My Pet Hooligan, have partnered with Amazon Prime Gaming to provide subscribers with exclusive in-game content.

Packs may contain genuine NFTs in certain instances, or they may include only non-tokenized items.

The partnership with Amazon coincides with the release of Far Horizons, the second in-game season for Gods Unchained.

This season introduces Tides of Fate expansion cards and new gameplay mechanics. “We are ecstatic to announce our partnership with Amazon Prime Gaming,” said Daniel Paez, executive producer and vice president of Immutable Games’ Gods Unchained.

“A new chapter in the game’s ongoing narrative will be introduced in Season 2, significantly altering the meta and players’ strategies.”

Paez explained that the 142-card Tides of Fate expansion incorporates God Powers, which are new abilities, as well as a “manasurge” function that enhances cards under specific conditions, in keeping with the set’s Atlantis motif.

Additionally, the set progresses with an in-game narrative that centers around a conflict between dragon and robotic factions over potent crystals.
