Analog Launches Incentive Testnet for Cross-Chain Ecosystem

Analog, a Web3 data provider and Layer 0 cross-chain communication protocol, has launched its incentive testnet.

Analog (ANLOG), a provider of Web3 data and a Layer 0 cross-chain communication protocol, recently announced the launch of its incentive testnet.

“We believe that building a truly interoperable cross-chain ecosystem requires the insights and contributions of everyone,” stated Victor Young, CEO and Founder of Analog. “Our Incentivized Testnet allows individuals to try out our tools, give feedback, and win rewards while they contribute to our goal of creating the best cross-chain data platform that’s easy to use and powerful,” he added.

Participants in the incentive testnet—including developers, enthusiasts, and node operators—have an opportunity to earn benefits while actively contributing to the development of the platform. As a result, every participant in the testnet will receive 2% of Analog’s total ANLOG token supply.

Earning Analog Token Points (ATPs) is a chance for everyone who takes part in the game to do things like test out the main features, give feedback, and play the Watch Game.

At this community event, participants will have the opportunity to explore and vote on developer-created views, which are specialized data sets that integrate data from different smart contracts on different blockchains to facilitate seamless interactions across them.

The goal is to determine which views are the most innovative and valuable to the ecosystem as a whole. Users receive ATPs as they contribute.

One fun and engaging way for members of Analog’s community to get to know one another is through the Watch Game, which encourages teamwork and new discoveries. One clear incentive for individuals supporting Analog’s growth is the ability to redeem these ATPs for a portion of the ANLOG token airdrop. In addition, Analog plans to launch other incentive apps over the incentive testnet timeframe.

A gradual rollout of the analog-incentivized testnet is underway to provide a problem-free experience. On April 16th, developers started taking part, and by the end of the month, the broader community had participated as well. All three phases will operate simultaneously until the end of July, with Phase 3 being the next one to open for validators.

The analog test network is similarly complex. In Phase 1, we encourage developers to list smart contracts, construct views, and deploy them. In the second stage, community members and others interested in Web3 can participate in social quests and offer helpful criticism. In the third phase, validators can run testnet nodes to protect the network and get rewards for their involvement and uptime.

Analog: What Is It?

The array of protocols on the platform utilizes its own Proof-of-Time (PoT) consensus technique to provide easy cross-chain communication and simplify information access.

Its main offerings provide a powerful set of resources for cross-chain development. Simplifying access to Web3 data through a GraphQL endpoint, Analog Watch provides a full-featured indexing and query mechanism.

To facilitate message transmission and reception between different blockchains, Analog GMP (General Message Passing) acts as a permissionless communication layer for decentralized applications (dApps). On top of that, their network relies on Timechain, an immutable ledger. To provide security, decentralization, and scalability, it employs a mix of PoT and Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) protocols.
