Ripple Partners With Apex Foundation

Ripple has cooperated with a variety of institutions, including certain central banks, since its inception in 2012 to make cross-border transactions cheaper, faster, and easier.

This time, the business is teaming up with the Apex Foundation to transport XRP to Avalanche via an ApexBridge that will be built by Apex and will be completely insured.

Apex’s primary function will be to ease the transfer of XRP from Ripple’s XRPL to Avalanche, as well as numerous other Ethereum Virtual Machine-based networks (EVM). Before being deployed, the bridge will be subjected to audits and penetration tests to guarantee that it functions properly.

Other DEXs will be supported via API access kits, allowing interaction with DeFi protocols. ApexBridge should be operational by the end of August 2022.

XRP Ledger Reaches Historic Milestone

The XRP Ledger has reached a historic milestone, according to XRPScan, as it has successfully closed the 72 millionth ledger. Micropayments, NFTs, DeFi, CBDCs, and other use cases are all covered by the XRP Ledger decentralized public blockchain.

Over 150 validators, owned by institutions, exchanges, businesses, and individuals, are currently operating on the ledger. XRPL employs a consensus protocol that assures that when the validator pool expands, the blockchain becomes more decentralized.
