Astar Network Launches Mazda NFT Collection

Astar Network “Yoki Origins” campaign, which has kicked off with Mazda’s debut NFT line, is set to release ten NFTs, including eight “Secret NFTs”.

Astar Network’s “Yoki Origins” campaign kicks off with Mazda’s NFT line debut. The Japanese carmaker has partnered with the layer-1 blockchain firm to release ten NFTs—eight of which are “Secret NFTs”—drawn from the famous MX-5 MIATA, which embodies the subcultural character of Mazda.

Along with Japan Airlines, Candy Girl, Casio, and the Kyushu Railway Company, Mazda is the latest Japanese company to participate in the Yoki Origins campaign.

Just over a month after the debut of the “Yoki Origins” gamified campaign—designed to hasten user onboarding on Astar zkEVM—Mazda has joined.

The launch campaign for Astar zkEVM, an Ethereum Layer 2 powered by Polygon CDK and the first chain to include Polygon AggLayer, is underway, and Astar Network is thrilled to announce that Mazda Motor Corporation is participating in it. Astar provided this information to the media in a statement.

“A new era of communication and storytelling for Mazda in the digital realm” ushered in the premiere NFTs from Mazda, according to a press release. This isn’t a one-off product; it’s the beginning of a fascinating series that the company is after.

The collection includes a variety of NFTs, such as four inspired by Japanese Season and Mazda, one combining Mazda and Astar, one exclusive to the NA/ND Mazda MX-5 MIATA, and one hybridizing Mazda and the city of Hiroshima.

Astar released the YoPort, an adaptation of the famous Japanese gacha machines, for the Mazda NFT series on April 5. The “Yoki Origins” initiative features YoPorts for all participating projects.
