On Monday, Binance, the largest crypto exchange in the world, announced that it will introduce new trading pairs for in-demand cryptocurrencies.
The crypto exchange announces new TerraClassicUSD (USTC), Blur, dYdX, and SuperVerse trading pairs.
However, Binance is predominantly concerned with USTC, as the price increased by 200% after the recent launch of the USD-M USTC perpetual contract by Binance Futures, which offers a maximum leverage of 50x.
Binance Concentrates on TerraClassicUSD (USTC)
Per an official announcement, on November 29, Binance will commence trading in FDUSD pairs for TerraClassicUSD (USTC), Blur, dYdX, and SuperVerse.
The action is taken in response to the recent surge in demand for these cryptocurrencies.
Binance will list spot trading pairs, including BLUR/FDUSD, DYDX/TRY, SUPER/FDUSD, USTC/FDUSD, and USTC/TRY.
Users may commence trading on November 30 at 08:00 UTC.
Notably, Binance does not charge maker fees for FDUSD pairs, so users can benefit from zero maker fees on the mentioned crypto.
Additionally, USTC listing in the Turkish lira (TRY) pair will increase trading volume for the Terra Classic stablecoin, as data suggests that Turkish users are engaging in substantial crypto trading due to the country’s hyperinflation.
Pumping by LUNC and USTC Continues
Terra Classic ecosystem tokens USTC and LUNC experienced a recovery from a previous dump due to Terraform Labs’ unequivocal denial of any involvement with Mint Cash.
Meanwhile, the crypto market recovery as a whole is driving the prices of Terra ecosystem tokens even higher.
The LUNC price increased by 25% in the past 24 hours, bringing the monthly surge to 85%.
However, the 24-hour low and high for LUNC were $0.0000921 and $0.0001243, respectively.
Nonetheless, in the last 24 hours, trading volume has decreased by 40%, suggesting a decline in interest among traders.
Furthermore, the current price of USTC is $0.045, an increase of 10% in the past 24 hours.
The 24-hour low and high are $0.0365 and $0.0457 respectively.
