Binance Introduces Omni Network As 52nd Launchpool Project

Binance announces the 52nd project on Binance Launchpool Omni Network, enabling users to stake BNB and FDUSD for OMNI tokens.

Staking BNB and FDUSD for four days to obtain OMNI tokens is now possible, according to cryptocurrency exchange Binance’s announcement of the 52nd project on the Binance Launchpool Omni Network (OMNI).

The farming activity will commence at 12:00 AM UTC on April 13th and conclude at 11:59 PM UTC on April 16th. At twelve o’clock in the afternoon UTC on April 17th, the exchange intends to list the OMNI token, allowing USDT, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY trading pairs. The first circulating supply of OMNI tokens accounts for 10.39% of the total 100 million token supply. As Binance Launchpool incentives, Omni Network allots 3.5% of the total token supply.

OMNI Token: The Engine That Drives Omni Network and the Spinoff Ecosystem on Ethereum

The goal of the Layer 1 blockchain, known as Omni Network, is to unify the rollup ecosystem on Ethereum. Using it, programmers may tap into Ethereum’s liquidity while creating apps that are available worldwide.

On the Omni Network, the native token is OMNI, which serves as a medium of exchange for gas as well as a medium of governance, staking, and transaction processing. The token’s ability to be turned into a gas resource makes it crucial to the Ethereum rollup ecosystem since it facilitates transactions across all Ethereum rollups. Gas payments are now more streamlined across all rollups, thanks to the project’s gas marketplace.

Omni Network’s two private token sales in 2022 brought around $18.1 million. Sales in the Seed Round accounted for 9.1% of the total token supply, with each OMNI token selling for $0.18. In the Series A round, sales increased to $1.50 per token, or 11% of the total availability. Twenty-one percent of the OMNI token supply was sold in private rounds.

Omni Network has just announced that it will begin the Genesis airdrop. On April 3rd, Omni Network retrospectively determined the eligibility for the airdrop, allowing users to claim their rewards over a period of 45 days.
