Binance has teamed up Khaby Lame to dispel illusions about the Web3 industry using his distinctive content style.
In order to raise exposure for Web3, the cryptocurrency exchange platform Binance has teamed up with Khaby Lame, the most popular TikTok maker. The influencer would represent the exchange as a global brand ambassador while dispelling myths about the blockchain and cryptocurrency industries.
With his videos criticizing DIY content providers who overcomplicate things, Lame gained 142 million followers on the social media platform TikTok and quickly came to popularity. He performs his signature move of raising both of his palms as he offers humorous life tips that make things more simpler.
According to Binance, Lame will provide content that dispels myths about Web3 using his distinctive writing style. An executive at Binance named James Rothwell claims that Lame will add relatability as Web3 adoption grows. Rothwell cited the following:
“With so much nuance around Web3 and misinformation in the world, it was a perfect match to have Khaby on board to help debunk some of the myths around this space.”
The Tiktoker claimed in a statement that he has long been interested in Web3. Lame claims that his collaboration with Binance “aligns wonderfully” with what he typically does, which is to simplify and make enjoyable complex situations. “I consider my followers as my family, and I am always looking for new challenges and interesting content to share with them,” he said.
The TikTok celebrity will be working with Binance to create nonfungible token (NFT) collections with the aim of boosting engagement with his fans, in addition to producing information about Web3 and dispelling falsehoods.
The TikTok star’s onboarding into Binance continues the company’s efforts to collaborate with well-known celebrities. Additionally, Binance and football star Cristiano Ronaldo collaborated last week to offer his followers to the Web3 space via NFTs.
The Web3 mobile phone concept was just given a sneak peek by Solana (SOL). The device and the network’s mobile stack for Web3 developers will be released simultaneously. The community’s responses to the news were diverse, ranging from approving of the release to raising concerns about the Solana network.
