Burniske Calls for Peace between Solana, ETH Communities

Chris Burniske, former head crypto analyst at ARK Invest and co-founder of digital asset-focused firm Placeholder, has taken to Twitter to call for an end to the teasing between the Solana (SOL) and Ethereum (ETH) communities.

He stated that since SOL and ETH are rising, now is an excellent time to make peace. He noted that both chains have the same objective but differing trade-offs.

Burniske also reminded both communities that Vitalik Buterin and Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founders of Solana, treat one another with “support, mutual respect, and diversity of approach.”

Currently, Ethereum is attempting to recover from this week’s Thursday and Friday declines of 5.46 percent.

ETH has recovered 0.83 percent and is currently trading at $1,861 after dropping from $1,955 two days ago.

Ethereum followed the leading cryptocurrency’s massive decline on Thursday, when Bitcoin plunged 4.32% from above $31,000 to below $30,000.

In contrast to Ethereum, SOL has been increasing since Wednesday. Earlier today, SOL’s increase peaked at 20.79 percent.

Now, the price has dropped slightly, and the coin is being traded at $21.86, having risen to $18.54 previously.

According to a recent analytics report from Santiment, the rapid growth of Solana in recent months may be attributable to a strong SOL social sentiment on Reddit.

Moreover, whereas Ethereum was impacted by Bitcoin’s decline and the stagnation of BTC spot ETF filings with the SEC, SOL appears to be benefiting from the adverse price action of its competitor, ETH.
