A Chinese woman, has been sentenced to nearly 7 years in prison for money laundering in connection with the fraudulent purchase of 61K BTC.
In connection with the controversy surrounding the fraudulent purchase of 61,000 Bitcoin (BTC), Wen Jian, a Chinese Woman was found guilty of money laundering and received a sentence of nearly seven years in prison.

Reuters charges the defendant with hiding assets purportedly stolen from approximately 130,000 Chinese investors between 2014 and 2017. A court in London sentenced her to six years and eight months in prison for her role in converting Bitcoin into cash and property valued at nearly $6.4 billion.
