Crypto Assets Become Payment Method For Luxury Italian Fashion Brand Michele Franzese Moda

Michele Franzese Moda, an Italian luxury company, has announced that it will accept crypto assets as a payment method. In an article titled “It’s Time for Crypto,” Michele Franzese Moda’s web magazine highlighted the company’s decision.

Michele Franzese Moda reveals it now accepts crypto assets, including Bitcoin (BTC) for items from the luxury catalog, according to the company’s fashion news site. According to the report, it’s time for the premium brand to take cryptocurrency, and e-commerce and Android customers will be able to pay with digital currencies in the future.

Michele Franzese Moda currently accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin SV (BSV), Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Voyager token (VGX), Solana (SOL), Polkadot (DOT), Litecoin (LTC), and a variety of other crypto assets as payment. “Michele Franzese Moda is the first big Italian luxury multi-brand retailer to accept cryptocurrencies,” according to the release.

Michele Franzese Moda is a fashion boutique based in Domenico Morelli, Napoli, in southern Italy. Customers can choose from a “premium catalog with over 8000 goods” and numerous new arrivals in terms of product choices, according to the retailer’s app. The luxury clothes company will use Voyager Digital’s Coinify payment system, according to the blog post announcing crypto acceptance. On March 15, the company’s official Facebook page also announced the crypto acceptance.

According to Michele Franzese Moda’s Facebook announcement:

“Pay in Crypto. Visit our online boutique or download our app MFModa Android and choose among Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Cardano, and even more.”

While Michele Franzese Moda’s crypto acceptance is a unique kind of support, the metaverse and non-fungible token collectibles are becoming increasingly popular ways for luxury fashion brands to engage with blockchain technology. For example, between March 24–27, 2022, Decentraland’s Metaverse Fashion Week will feature several well-known fashion firms. Vogue Arabia, Jacob & Co, Dolce & Gabbana, Franck Muller, Tommy Hilfiger, and Selfridges, to name a few, are among those who will be in attendance.
