Deutsche Telekom Joins Forces with Fetch.ai

Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiary MMS will serve as a validator for Fetch.ai’s decentralized blockchain, ensuring network efficiency and security.

Deutsche Telekom and the Fetch.ai Foundation, an organization co-founded by Bosch and Fetch.ai with the mission of promoting the development of AI and Web3 solutions, have announced their collaboration.

The telecommunications corporation joined the Fetch.ai Foundation as its inaugural corporate associate.

Deutsche Telekom’s Strategic Collaboration

The collaboration also encompasses MMS, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, which will serve as a validator for the decentralized Fetch.ai blockchain.

The function of MMS as a validator is of the utmost importance in safeguarding the efficiency and security of the Fetch.ai network.

This network utilizes AI-powered autonomous agents to optimize and protect transactions in diverse industries, such as automotive and healthcare. Dirk Röder, Head of the Web3 Infrastructure & Solutions Team at Deutsche Telekom MMS stated:

“The collaboration between Deutsche Telekom, Fetch.ai and Bosch is groundbreaking and combines industrial applications with the Internet of Things. Autonomous agents will automate industrial services, simplify processes and make them secure and scalable thanks to blockchain technology.”

Fetch.ai is an open-source platform constructed on the Cosmos infrastructure that facilitates the integration of AI and blockchain, thereby empowering industry-changing applications. Humayun Sheikh CEO of Fetch.ai. says:

“This partnership is a significant milestone for Fetch.ai. Through research, development and practical application of agents, AI and decentralized Web3 technologies, real-world use cases can be integrated to enhance the existing network,”

On February 28 and 29, MMS, Fetch.ai, and Bosch will be in attendance at the innovation event Bosch Connected Experience (BCX), which will feature a hackathon to promote the development of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.

As per the declaration issued by Fetch.ai, participants in BCX will have the capability to generate novel concepts by utilizing the Fetch.ai blockchain.

“For Bosch, the collaboration with Deutsche Telekom is an important step in advancing the topic of AI and Web3.” In addition to Bosch’s automotive expertise, “Deutsche Telekom is contributing its infrastructure and expertise as a telecommunications provider to the Fetch.ai Foundation,” concludes Peter Busch, Head of Distributed Ledger Technology Mobility at Bosch and Chair of the Board of the Fetch.ai Foundation.
