Elon Musk To Transform X With Grok-Powered AI News

Alex Kantrowitz, reported that Elon Musk intends to integrate AI-generated news into his social media platform using Grok, X’s AI chatbot.

Alex Kantrowitz, an American journalist and the founder of Big Technology, asserted that Eon Musk, the owner of X, had emailed him about his intentions to incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) news on the social media platform.

It is with the assistance of Grok, X’s artificial intelligence chatbot, that he asserts Elon Musk intends to accomplish this combination of AI-breaking news and comments.

Elon Musk To Put Grok AI To Creative Use

The journalist claimed that he attempted to use Grok, but he found out that it was unable to link to a Time article that it summarized. In addition, he attempted to click inside the article in order to learn more, but he was unsuccessful, and this prompted him to contact Musk.

In return, Musk revealed to Kantrowitz that he is now working on an advanced iteration that will be released soon. The proposal will construct a real-time synthesizer of breaking news and social commentary surrounding major stories, along with replies through social media.

After that, we will print the compilations live and offer the opportunity to delve deeper through chat. In a conversation with Kantrowitz, Musk is believed to have stated, “The news summary will update to include that information as more information becomes available.

The objective is straightforward to provide information that is as accurate and up-to-date as possible, while citing the most important publications. The American journalist believes that this will not be a simple assignment, but he also believes that the bot will become a novel news product because it has access to the “X firehose.”

Grok AI integrates social interactions into its summaries and incorporates a running list of headlines into its current features. Musk intends to avoid copyright lawsuits using artificial intelligence.

Elon Musk Plans To Avoid AI Copyright Suits

Kantrowitz maintains Grok’s potential for improvement, focusing primarily on issues like citation and hallucination. Grok will be different from all of the other AI news summarizers that are now available, and it is likely to be more controversial depending on the plan that Elon Musk is considering.

In the long run, the invention will work toward the goal of ensuring that users, publishers and the platform as a whole are satisfied with it, respectively. Furthermore, Musk intends to make the discussion about X the central focus of Grok’s summaries.

Given that this strategy has the potential to provide X with some distance from the publisher litigation that is affecting a number of AI startups, it appears to be the appropriate choice.

Eight different media outlets have recently brought forth allegations of copyright infringement against OpenAI and Microsoft.

The New York Times has filed a lawsuit against each of these companies, but this is separate from that. Meanwhile, there was no indication of when this integration would occur or if it would eventually become a reality.
