Empire State Building Launches Loyalty Program with Reward

The Empire State Building has teamed up with Uptop and Magic to introduce the Ambassador Program, offering free experiences & digital treasures.

The Empire State Building has partnered with Uptop, a Web3 Customer Loyalty infrastructure platform, and Magic, a Wallet-as-a-Service provider, to debut the Ambassador Program for New York City residents and fans.

Visitors can enjoy free experiences and digital treasures in the program, which can be used to unlock other perks. Uptop and Magic will send special NFTs to Magic wallets so that loyal fans can get exclusive perks.

This news follows the 102-story Art Deco skyscraper in New York City’s recent second straight victory as Tripadvisor’s 2023 Travelers’ Choice “Best of the Best” US attraction.

The program is provided by the Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT), which has partnered with Uptop and Magic to streamline the integration of innovative wallet solutions into its technology stack. This allows visitors without blockchain knowledge to easily access Web3 rewards.

In response to the news, Uptop’s Ross Basri stated: “Delivering an enterprise-scale solution for a large, publicly traded company required selecting a partner with competence in wallet technology.”. The clear winner was Magic due to their history of providing experiences that are both user-friendly and secure.

“As New Yorkers, the chance to commemorate the Empire State Building experience with NFTs which provide a blend of tradition and digital innovation was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up,” Dylan Hattem of Magic said.

All five of the collectible artworks—The Ambassador, Bronze Ambassador (attained after 440 points), Silver (880 points), Gold (1,320 points), and Platinum (1,760 points)—featuring images of the Empire State Building each exist, as stated on the program website.

Launched on February 13, 2024, ambassador.esbnyc.com is where interested parties can register for the program.
