Former United States government officials asserted the existence of extraterrestrial spacecraft and “biologics” during a widely viewed hearing. Crypto degeners have been quick to attempt to profit from this.

David Grusch, a former Pentagon task force member on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and whistleblower, testified under oath before the House Oversight Subcommittee on National Security and accused the U.S. government of covering up extraterrestrial visitation to Earth.

Since the July 26 hearing went viral, over fifty aliens, UFOs, and other extraterrestrial-themed tokens have appeared in the last twenty-four hours.

The United States government possesses “non-human” spacecraft, according to Grusch, who acknowledged that he could not answer specific queries due to the classified nature of much of the information.

Grusch, citing Pentagon informants who still worked on the UAP program, asserted that “non-human biologics” were discovered onboard these crafts.

Ryan Graves, the executive director of Americans for Safe Aerospace, and retired Navy Commander David Fravor also testified at the hearing.

Notably, Fravor captured the infamous imagery of a “tic tac” UAP off the West Coast of the United States in 2004. Fravor observed that the “tic tacs” were able to remain perfectly still in gale-force winds, leading him to the conclusion that the UAPs were “far beyond the material science that we currently possess.”

More than 50 tokens with alien, UFO, and other extraterrestrial-themed tickers, such as “ALIENX,” “UFO,” and “ALIEN,” have emerged in the last 24 hours, according to data from DexTools, a platform that enables traders to view a vast array of unverified, low-market-cap tokens.

It is important to note that many brand-new memecoins are frequently “honeypot” schemes that use the hype around a specific topic to attract investors but have mechanisms that prevent FOMO-driven investors from selling their tokens after they’ve bought in.

Despite the subject’s popularity on Twitter and Google searches, the overwhelming majority of new tokens have seen little to no trading activity.

Nonetheless, some of the slightly larger alien-themed memecoins performed marginally better.

According to data from CoinGecko, the UFO Gaming Token (UFO) has gained 2.4% over the past twenty-four hours, while the AlienFi Token (ALIEN) has gained 5.0%.
