The USDD protocol, according to Justin Sun, aims to meet consumers’ desire for stable digital currencies by allowing them to conduct electronic payments in USDD. To do this, the USDD protocol will be tied to the USD, the world’s most extensively used fiat currency, in order to provide consumers with a stable, decentralized, and tamper-proof USDD-USD system.

The blockchain industry is at the pinnacle of its development, producing awe-inspiring technologies that have yet to be adopted as trendy technologies for a variety of reasons. One of the most significant challenges in digital asset investment is price fluctuation, which annoys a wide range of individual and institutional investors every day. Indeed, a sector is unlikely to accept a digital currency if its price falls every day.

As Justin Sun stated in his open letter, “Today, blockchain has grown into an open financial market of more than a trillion dollars. It is time to build a decentralized reserve dedicated to the blockchain industry.”

The TRON blockchain has developed into the world’s largest stablecoin network four years after its launch. It presently has over $55 billion in financial assets, including on-chain stablecoins, and has settled over $4 trillion in assets.

The creation of USDD aims to address two long-standing issues in the crypto world, one of which is the necessity to hedge risks. In a negative market, demand for stablecoins has risen as more investors, whose faith has been shaken by the market slump, trade their cryptos for stablecoins to hedge risks and cut losses. Second, cryptos have progressed to the point where they seek widespread circulation, which necessitates the use of stable-value currencies.
