Kevin De Bruyne Enters Cryptocurrency

Kevin De Bruyne, a Belgian soccer star who plays for Manchester City, has joined Phemex, a Singapore-based cryptocurrency platform, as a brand ambassador.

KDB, one of the best soccer players of all time, recently expressed his developing interest in the digital asset sector.

Manchester City’s star expressed his excitement at the prospect of working with Phemex and its staff to “create and explore the future of cryptocurrency.”

Apart from serving as a worldwide ambassador for the trading platform, the Belgian will also participate in educational projects aimed at explaining the benefits of cryptocurrency to soccer fans.

De Bruyne is “the complete footballer who constantly adapts to the game scenario and makes the proper play,” according to Phemex CEO Jack Tao.

“We look forward to working together to showcase how our comprehensive and easy-to-use platform empowers users to break through and break free in their financial journey.”

Crypto Industry And Sports

Kevin De Bruyne, on the other hand, is one of the most prominent soccer players today. He helped Manchester City win their sixth Premier League title last week, and he will be one of Belgium’s leaders for the World Cup in Qatar in November.

In the past, the crypto industry has effectively collaborated with the soccer world. Andrés Iniesta, a former FC Barcelona footballer, promoted the cryptocurrency exchange Binance on Instagram and Twitter last year, albeit controversially.

Neymar made his NFT fandom known in early 2022 by purchasing a Bored Ape Yacht Club digital collectible for about 160 ETH. It was worth over $480,000 at the time of the acquisition.

That club also includes Ronaldinho and David Beckham. The former recently teamed with P00LS to establish his own coin, RON, while the British just submitted three trademark applications in the Metaverse for NFTs, virtual clothes, and entertainment events.
