Magnificent Century Joins Sandbox in Metaverse Partnership

Magnificent Century has announced that it will soon join The Sandbox, also referred to in this article as The Sandbox.

The plan appears sound, and if the team enters the Metaverse, it will be the second television series to do so. The initial entry is The Walking Dead.

The Turkish television series Magnificent Century has been viewed by over 500 million people worldwide. It has been described as a significant industry milestone.

Magnificent Century will go live for gamers, allowing them to create their own experiences via non-transactional items and live interactive events.

Magnificent Century and Sandbox will discuss any plans, if any. Globally, players will be able to equip their 3D avatars in the fourth quarter of 2023. Players will interact with characters from a fictional world.

Sandbox hosted the global launch of the theme in Paris. The Chief Operating Officer of Sandbox, Sebastien Borget, expressed his company’s enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that they were looking forward to having a globally renowned Turkish series on the Metaverse.

Sebastien, the platform’s co-founder, believes that having the series on its platform will enhance its international market presence.

Alternately, making a debut on Metaverse enables the planning of a massive presence on Web3—the decentralized internet.

Web3 aims to gain traction in all significant regions using a play-to-earn gaming model, although this is not exactly public knowledge.

The model essentially enables players to utilize their digital assets within a game. Arslan Kiran, country manager for Sandbox Turkey, echoed that entering the Metaverse makes it possible to realize the Web3 vision for The Magnificent Century.

Timur Savci of TIMS Productions explained that Magnificent Century in the Metaverse of Sandbox continues its innovative contributions to the gaming industry.

Timur acknowledged their pioneering role and added that they were thrilled to bridge the gap between cherished heritage and a new generation.

Timur has also stated that the Magnificent Century is a landmark that has broken numerous world records.

There was only one episode of the drama series in 2011, but it still has a rating of 92% on Google and 6.9 on IMDb.

Sandbox, an Animoca Brands subsidiary, was launched in 2012. Magnificent Century is Sandbox’s newest business partner.

Ubisoft, Warner Music Group, Adidas, The Smurfs, and Shibuya 109, to name a few, are also included.

Sandbox’s development follows the announcement of the Infinite Pulse Land Sale’s launch. The launch permits eligible users to claim a LAND themed around music.

The sale began on June 22, 2023, and will continue until July 18, 2023. Users on the allowlist need only log in to acquire the music-themed LAND before supplies run out.
