Manta Network Launches Liquid Staking with vMANTA

Manta Network (MANTA) is a versatile ecosystem designed for zero-knowledge (ZK) applications, comprising Manta Atlantic and other networks.

Manta Network (MANTA) is a multi-modular ecosystem for zero-knowledge (ZK) applications. The full-chain liquid staking derivatives (LSD) protocol Bifrost is how MANTA offers MANTA token native staking on Manta Pacific.

Manta Pacific is a network that supports decentralized apps and is compatible with EVM. It makes use of Celestia for data availability and builds a scalable, gas-cheap technical architecture with a modified OP stack. According to L2 Beat, the network’s smart contracts are currently worth $744 million.

With the Omni Liquid Staking decentralized application (dApp), users of EVM-based platforms can now liquid-stake MANTA tokens on Manta Pacific. By doing this, they can safeguard the network and unlock liquidity at the same time.

Bifrost’s Manta Network liquid staking token (LST), vMANTA, will enable access to more decentralized financial (DeFi) activities within the Manta Pacific ecosystem.

Bifrost has made an official announcement on the social networking site X, revealing further DeFi scenarios and use cases in the coming weeks. This will improve vMANTA’s compatibility even more.

Users should use the Omni Liquid Staking platform to engage in staking. To access the MANTA liquid staking portal, they must first link their wallet, then pick vMANTA from the menu in the upper left corner of the screen.

They should click “approve” and then “stake now” after providing the necessary number of MANTA tokens for staking. This will finish the on-chain signature and verification procedure.

Manta Network: What Is It?

Manta Network, which serves ZK applications, operates in a multi-modular environment. Manta Pacific represents one of Manta Network’s two networks. The other is Manta Atlantic, a Polkadot ZK Layer 1 blockchain that offers Web3 credentials and programmable identities using zkSBTs.

These two solutions work together to create a unique environment that promotes the development and uptake of Web3 apps.

Several well-known venture finance firms, including Polychain Finance and Binance Labs, are supporting the initiative. Manta Network recently unlocked 21.67 million MANTA tokens, which are worth about $40.52 million and account for 8.67% of the total quantity that is in circulation.
