Naver Pay has partnered with Chiliz to boost fan engagement with exclusive ticketing and payment systems.
The massive South Korean payments company Naver Pay has announced a collaboration with Chiliz, a blockchain-based provider of fan interaction solutions. In addition to organizing fan events, the two businesses will work together on exclusive ticketing and payment systems.
Chiliz is a top provider of fan interaction programs for sports clubs. The company has expanded its global network of fan-sport fan token offerings by announcing a collaboration with the K League in South Korea.
Some of the greatest sporting teams in the world, such as FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspurs, and Paris Saint-Germain, have partnered with Chiliz. It now offers entire leagues in addition to individual clubs because of its recent partnerships with the K League and French Ligue 1.
However, Naver Pay claims to have 33 million registered users and 18 million active users per day. According to the company, this makes Naver Pay “a compelling solution for businesses seeking to enhance customer engagement via rewards and streamline payments.”
In an effort to include “cutting-edge Web3 technologies,” Naver Pay is reportedly using the cooperation as part of its global growth strategy.
