OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Team, GPT Store Amid Company Changes

OpenAI, a company that specializes in artificial intelligence (AI), has just recently introduced a new subscription service called ChatGPT Team.

OpenAI should implement the new “self-serve” approach to bridge the gap between the ChatGPT Plus service, which is geared toward individual customers, and ChatGPT Enterprise.

OpenAI Team offers several enhancements compared to the Plus service, with the most notable distinctions being the inclusion of a 32K context window and the capacity to generate individualized GPTs that can be distributed across team members.

ChatGPT Team membership service provides access to tools such as DALL·E 3, GPT-4 with Vision, browsing, advanced data analysis, and an administrative portal for managing workspaces and teams.

Additionally, OpenAI stated in a post on X that the ChatGPT Team possesses “business-grade data privacy and security.” Further details were provided in a blog post that accompanied the article:

“We do not train on your business data or conversations, and our models don’t learn from your usage.”

During the past few months, OpenAI has been experiencing a volatile period that has resulted in numerous product launches, a CEO shuffle (and rearrangement), and numerous lawsuits against the firm alleging that it trained models on copyrighted material without permission.

The new subscription service emerges amid this turbulent period. It was recently revealed that OpenAI has recently opened the “GPT Store,” which is a marketplace where users may monetise their bespoke GPTs that they have produced over time.

Users set custom GPTs as prompts to direct ChatGPT toward specific mannerisms or identities Rather than having to repeat personal preference parameters with each new conversation.

For instance, instructions telling the AI that it should respond to queries as a chef’s assistant or without technical jargon, users can take advantage of custom GPTs, which enable them to set up the parameters of the chatbot only once and then save it for later use.

GPTs appear to have an infinite number of modification possibilities available to them.

The community of artificial intelligence professionals eagerly anticipates the introduction of the GPT Store by OpenAI despite the difficulty of forecasting any market.
