OpenAI Unveils ChatGPT Enterprise

OpenAI, the company that created the artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT, has unveiled ChatGPT Enterprise, a faster, more secure, and more potent version of the chatbot designed for use in commercial contexts.

ChatGPT Enterprise provides users with unrestricted access to GPT-4 at up to twice the performance speed.

It can process 32,000 token context windows for inputs, according to a blog post published on August 28.

Because one token corresponds to approximately four characters of English text, the 32,000 model can process about 24,000 words of text in a single input, nearly four times the GPT-4 standard.

OpenAI contends that ChatGPT Enterprise surpasses GPT-4’s privacy and security standards because it does not use company data to train its OpenAI models.

It is SOC 2 compliant, a standard for safeguarding customer data. OpenAI also claims that ChatGPT Enterprise can train OpenAI models more quickly than GPT-4.

According to the corporation, over 80% of Fortune 500 companies have adopted the AI tool in some capacity. The firm explained:

“[They] are using ChatGPT to craft clearer communications, accelerate coding tasks, rapidly explore answers to complex business questions, assist with creative work, and much more.”

OpenAI is also developing a self-service business application that allows ChatGPT to apply its knowledge to an organization’s data.

The enterprise product was introduced in response to “unprecedented demand” for ChatGPT products since their November 30 introduction.

Companies that deal in cryptocurrencies continue their research into artificial intelligence as a potential solution to many problems, including combating climate change, increasing transparency in the music industry, and ensuring data privacy on-chain.
