President Biden’s reelection campaign is hiring a meme expert to appeal to Gen Z voters.

Seemingly trying to appeal to Gen Z voters, President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign team is hiring a meme expert.

The Biden for President (BFP) campaign’s job posting for a “Partner Manager” tasked the winning candidate with starting and overseeing “day-to-day operations in engaging the internet’s top content and meme pages.

President Biden Campaign to Hire Meme Manager for $65,000-$85,000

“Indeed, President Biden’s team will pay their meme manager in Wilmington, Delaware, between $65,000 and $85,000 annually, which is marginally more than the national average for digital marketers’ income.

The primary responsibility of the Biden memer would be to oversee connections with podcasters, digital media firms, and meme pages across a number of social media platforms, per the job description.

President Biden’s staff has experimented with memes in the past early 2022, his campaign adopted the “Dark Brandon” laser eyes meme in an effort to portray the 81 years old as tech-savvy.

Seth Meyers questioned President Biden on the Dark Brandon meme during his Late Night segment in February. “I resent the hell out of it,” he retorted, putting on a pair of black aviators.

At a White House correspondents’ dinner in April, Biden wore the sunglasses once more and made reference to his image, drawing applause from the attendees.

This appears to be the most senior attempt by the president of the United States to court a younger electorate. In an apparent attempt to win over voters, a number of Democrats have also appeared to reverse their positions on cryptocurrencies after presidential contender Donald Trump supported them.

On the other side of politics, Trump is accustomed to memes. His mugshot went viral in August 2023, following his processing for his fourth indictment at Fulton County Jail.

Seizing the moment, his campaign staff began vending T-shirts, mugs, and other items bearing the picture, and in December they unveiled a collection of nonfungible tokens (NFTs) called “MugShot. The MAGA memecoin with a Trump motif gained momentum in early May, following his pro-crypto remarks.
