Ripple vs. SEC: Great If Verdict Comes in Few Months, Says Former Lawyer

Scott Chamberlain, a former lawyer and co-founder of XRPL’s Evernode, has taken to Twitter to address the worries of XRP users about the current Ripple vs. SEC case. In a tweet, he said he had heard a lot of people in the neighborhood say that Judge Torres was taking too long to decide the issue. But he pointed out that it would be shocking to determine such a complicated case in only a couple of months.

Scott Chamberlain said that courts can take a long time to make a decision. For example, he said that in his home country of Australia, the Canberra Supreme Court took a shameful four and a half years to make a decision, which set a record for the longest time someone had to wait.

Chamberlain’s tweet comes when the crypto industry eagerly awaits a settlement to the Ripple vs. SEC case, which could significantly affect the crypto industry. At the start of the year, the commission and crypto company issue might not be resolved until 2023. Even Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple, shared this hope. He said the case could be over as soon as the year’s first half. But May has already come.
