The BRICS summit is taking place this week, and the world is watching to see what might come from it. The event will likely significantly affect world politics as the group talked about how to keep promoting local currencies and add more countries to the group, which currently has five members.

Since the beginning, the BRICS summit has been seen as a significant event for the growth of the economic group. Saudi Arabia has also said it wants to be a part of the alliance’s plans to grow. After that, those will be discussed at the meeting this week.

Saudi Arabia Confirms BRICS Summit Attendance

Saudi Arabia has made it public that it will be at the BRICS summit. According to a government release, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, will go to South Africa to defend the country.

More than 40 heads of state and the BRICS business union will attend the two-day event. Saudi Arabia has now said that it will be there.

In addition, the statement says that the group will talk about “discuss many developments in the international arena and the challenges facing the world.” The report also noted that there will be “several bilateral meetings with representatives of the participating countries in the BRICS Plus and BRICS Africa Dialogue.”  After that, he said he wanted to build “mutually beneficial partnerships in a multipolar world.”

Many people have said that Saudi Arabia would be a good fit for the BRICS group if it were to grow. Also, developing business partnerships in the strategic field would be necessary.
