Shiba Inu Developer Announces Shibarium Release

In a July 6 blog post, Shytoshi Kusama, the primary developer of Shiba Inu, stated that the team will discuss the highly anticipated second layer, Shibarium, and possibly release it during the Blockchain Futurist Conference, ETHToronto, and ETHWomen hackathons scheduled for August 2023 in Canada.

The developer emphasized the significance of this event because it coincides with Shiba Inu’s third anniversary and takes place at Ethereum’s origin.

Kusama stated in the announcement that the Shiba Inu ecosystem would serve as the title sponsor for the impending Blockchain Futurist Conference and the official hackathons ETHToronto and ETHWomen.

In addition, Kusama will make a virtual appearance and deliver a speech at a conference conducted on the day of the Shibarium release. This conference will feature the “world paper” of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, announce new initiatives, and provide the first detailed information regarding the Treat token.

During the Blockchain Futurist Conference, Shibarium will host a multi-month hackathon, according to the blog post. Two displays will be devoted to displaying Shibarium and various Shiba Inu-themed products, platforms, and services, such as Shib the Metaverse, Shibacals, Shiba Eternity, and Shiboshis, among others.

In addition, attendees can anticipate displays from partners such as Unification and BadIdea.AI, as well as new Shibarium Tech-based projects.

In the Shiba Inu community, various tokens serve distinct purposes.

The Shiba Inu governs the community as a whole, whereas the Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) token supports and regulates the technological aspect of Shibarium.

The Doge Killer (Leash) token is accountable for community protection and provides exclusivity, whereas the Treat token will govern community initiatives.

According to Kusama, the Shiba Inu ecosystem will consist of the Doggy DAO, which will govern the entire ecosystem, and the Shib Doggy DAO Foundation, which will implement the DAO’s decisions and retain its assets.

The governance will be divided into four, one for each core token in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, so that all community members have equal influence.

The Shiba Inu community responded enthusiastically to the news. One user identified as ShibaBazaar stated that they had waited years for this development and had previously solved every puzzle.
