ShibaInuart, a Shiba Inu enthusiast, has shared the most recent SHIB: The Metaverse data. According to the report, 18,700 plots have been purchased thus far, with over 5,100 present landowners.
A total of 100,595 territories will be released over time, according to the shib.io website. 36,431 acres will be exposed during the initial introductory phase, with just 32,124 accessible for purchase. Some areas will stay unlocked since they are important hubs for Metaverse travel and will be used as common ground.
In response to a community request, the SHIB team has revealed that lands can now be purchased with the SHIB token in SHIB: The Metaverse, while also disclosing the details of minting with SHIB in a recent tweet.
Shiba Inu has also garnered over 4,000 new owners in just a few days. According to WhaleStats, the total number of SHIB holders is currently 1,143,515, up from zero. The figure was at 1,139,916 just six days ago. The recent increase is still a good sign.
A rise in holders may not have an immediate influence on the price, but it may indicate long-term interest in an item.
Shiba Inu Burn Portal Will Start Rewarding SHIB Holders On May 17
Starting May 17, Shiba Inu owners will be able to collect incentives for burning SHIB tokens. Shiba Inu launched its burn portal in late April in cooperation with Ryoshi’s Vision, a decentralized money project (RYOSHI).
Every two weeks, users will receive RYOSHI tokens as a reward. BurntSHIB token holders will receive 0.49 percent of all transactions. Since the portal commenced operations, more than 22 billion SHIB had been incinerated.
Camper & Nicholsons, a premium yacht charter and brokerage firm, now accepts Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies as payment via BitPay. For its complete yacht fleet, including SHIB, the 240-year-old corporation now accepts cryptocurrency payments, including SHIB, for buying, chartering, and all other services.
According to CoinMarketCap, SHIB is currently ranked 15th in terms of market capitalization. Shiba Inu was likewise selling at $0.0000207, down from $0.0000184 at the end of April.
