Shiba Inu Wins BitPay Competition
SHIB, a meme cryptocurrency, has won a recent tournament organized by Bitpay, a leading cryptocurrency payments processor.
“Bitcoin Brackets” was set up to determine which cryptocurrency was “about to explode.”
The competition consisted of four rounds with a total of 16 coins, including Binance Coin, Cardano, Solana, Polkadot, Dogecoin, and other altcoins, divided into brackets.
During each phase of the tournament, the cryptocurrency community had to vote for its favorite cryptocurrency from a specific pair using a specific form. SHIB managed to gain an advantage over Terra, Solana, and then Cardano during the first three rounds.
It had to face Polygon in the grand finale before securing a resounding victory.
The tournament’s outcome demonstrated the strength of the Shiba Inu community, which is still active despite the canine coin’s poor performance in 2022.
Participants in the voting process will be eligible to win prizes from BitPay.
