Soland, Solana’s mining project has officially launched with a 20-day pre-sale period before genesis mining begins.
The Solana ecosystem’s mining project, Soland (SLD), has now made an official launch announcement. The first wave of miner pre-sales started at the same time as the launch. We have set the pre-sale period to last for 20 days, after which the genesis mining will commence.
In order to overcome the shortcomings of Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS) mining models, Soland applies the basic method of Proof of Succinct Work (PoSW).
Soland aspires to augment the value proposition of SLD by balancing computing power-based block rewards and dynamically modifying mining difficulty, thus encouraging broader participation in mining and node administration.
The Soland ecosystem’s native token, SLD, has a maximum quantity of 2,000,000 tokens. The network uses its collective computational capacity to generate block rewards.
In addition to announcing its launch, the project will be holding a $100,000 SLD giveaway. To participate, users must subscribe to the project’s X social network sites, leave a comment, and complete an official form. We have scheduled the event from May 13th to May 15th at 8:00 UTC.
