Unity, a video game production platform, has introduced a number of crypto platforms to its asset store to aid developers interested in Web3 technology in streamlining decentralization initiatives.
Unity said on February 28 that it had added a “Decentralization” category page to its asset store, containing “vetted” crypto platforms for developers interested in incorporating decentralization into their projects.
MetaMask was one of the thirteen platforms listed on the shop, with its Software Development Kit (SDK) introduced to assist developers in enabling consumers to link their MetaMask wallet to “any Unity-developed game.”

According to Unity, the interfaces will enable game creators to adjust “models of ownership” and let players to produce, earn, or acquire in-game items that can then be traded or sold.
