X’s Ad Revenue Sharing with Kraken’s Bitcoin Proposal

Following the announcement of X’s (formerly Twitter) advertising revenue sharing initiative, the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken proposed accepting Bitcoin payments.

The X community responded favorably to the tweet, complimenting the suggestion as an excellent suggestion. VJ Crypto Guerreier stated that it would be incredible if Elon Musk, CEO of X, began accepting Dogecoin as payment.

However, ixela.lens, another user on the platform, replied that, for the time being, it may be more practical to receive remittances in “Web Money.”

After much anticipation, X has officially launched its ad revenue-sharing program for creators worldwide who qualify.

The initiative allows creators to receive a portion of the advertising revenue generated in response to their content on the X platform.

According to the platform’s developers, this is a major step in X’s commitment to assisting individuals in earning a direct living on the recently rebranded platform.
Creators with at least 15 million impressions over the previous three months, at least 500 followers, and the Blue verification subscription will be eligible for payments.

In the meantime, X has designated the financial technology company Stripe as its payment processor.
Stripe introduced a native fiat-to-cryptocurrency on-ramp service to facilitate the purchase of cryptocurrencies by U.S. customers.

Should Musk’s platform implement cryptocurrency payments, the on-ramp service could be advantageous. There are no indications or intentions regarding the implementation of cryptocurrency-based payments from X’s developers.
Since April 2022, when Stripe enabled crypto reimbursements for Twitter creators, cryptocurrency payment support has been available.

It has been speculated for some time that DOGE and BTC could be among the initial cryptocurrencies supported by X, should crypto payments become available on the social media platform.

In reality, support for cryptocurrency payments has been available to Twitter creators since April 2022, when Stripe added support for cryptocurrency disbursements.
