The owner and manager of Relic Castle would post several items on Reddit and Discord to inform site fans about the decisions made. One of the moderators at Relic Castle was adamant about keeping conversation around the news posts above board, so they locked the comments:

Maybe we’ll let the public weigh in on the subject after a bit more time has passed and more data has been collected. It is our right as community leaders to control the conversation, and that is exactly what we are doing. Being a platform for toxic rhetoric and disinformation is not something we are interested in. We’ve outlined everything we know here, so if you have any unanswered questions, it’s likely that no one can answer them at this time.
