Avail Integration to Boost Layer 2 Scaling Solutions

Avail integrates Layer 2 scaling solutions such as StarkWare with its data availability (DA) layer to enhance blockchain scalability and efficiency.

We will connect the Layer 2 scaling solutions of StarkWare, zkSync, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Polygon with the data availability (DA) layer, a modular blockchain solution that aims to optimize data availability for rollups.

The goal of the integration is to make it easier for developers to create blockchains with better scalability, efficiency, and adaptability.

By making sure all the important transaction data is easily accessible, DA layers are vital for the effective and secure operation of Layer 2 scaling solutions. This openness is critical for preventing fraud, ensuring accurate transactions, and facilitating trustworthy processes outside of the Ethereum blockchain.

Avail DA allows consumers to easily integrate a rollup tech stack into an already established decentralized network of validators, which supplies the hardware required to run a blockchain. To ensure that various rollups on the network have access to verified, indefinitely scalable DA blobspace, validators must run the decentralized hardware that is required for this.

Facilitates Web3 Ecosystem Interoperability with Avail

Scalability, interoperability, and security are the pillars upon which the modular blockchain ecosystem rests, with the goal of improving the user and developer experience. The Fusion Security layer, the Nexus layer, and the DA layer are its three fundamental building blocks.

The Nexus is one of their most important components. Built as a zero-knowledge (ZK) rollup layer on top of DA, Nexus functions as a hub that unifies several rollups and blockchains. It uses unique characteristics, such as fast data availability assurances and light clients with data availability sampling. Simultaneously, the combined efforts of DA, Nexus, and Fusion are developing a more cohesive Web3 environment.

Just like other significant DA projects, has seen rapid development in the past few months. Following the launch of DA, it recently revealed the Unification Drop, which aims to distribute 600 million tokens to 354,605 members of the community. There will be a delay until May 4th, 11:59 p.m. GMT, as we verify claims.
