Blockchain.com, a crypto brokerage in collaboration with Altis Partners launched an asset management service for institutional and high-net-worth investors.
Blockchain.com Asset Management (BCAM) is a crypto asset management platform developed in collaboration with Altis Partners, which will manage BCAM’s investments.
“BCAM combines the very best of old-world financial markets with the new world of crypto, the advent of distributed ledger technologies and crypto-assets has the potential to change the structure of financial services and global capital markets while presenting new opportunities for investors. We are pleased to offer our risk management and operational expertise in this exciting sector to an even broader range of clients,” said Blockchain.com Chief Strategy Officer Charles McGarraugh, who will also lead the platform as Altis’ chief investment officer.
Bitcoin Tracker, which will track bitcoin prices in dollars, and Bitcoin Smart Beta, which employs “algorithm-based” management to assist smooth volatility and drawdowns, are two of BCAM’s inaugural offerings.
Last Monday, Lightspeed Venture Partners led an investment round for Blockchain.com, valuing the firm at $14 billion.
