Saga Blockchain Platform Readies for Airdrop

Blockchain modular platform, saga is preparing for its next airdrop and launching of its mainnet.

The Saga (SAGA) modular blockchain platform is gearing up for its next airdrop by announcing plans to hold the first snapshot of SAGA token stakers later this month.

Developers can easily create VM-agnostic, parallelized, and interoperable dedicated blockchains (called “chainlets”) with Saga, a Layer 1 protocol. These chains offer applications limitless horizontal scalability through shared security, advanced validator orchestration, and a standardized, automated CI/CD deployment pipeline.

Since its establishment in 2022, the Saga modular blockchain platform has experienced significant growth, with over 350 projects embracing its protocol. The gaming sector accounts for almost 80% of these projects. Currently, the blockchain modular platform Saga works with several companies to help them automate infrastructure scaling via “Chainlets.” These companies include Celestia, Avalanche, Polygon, Com2uS, and MarbleX.

On April 9th, the project launched its mainnet in its initial phase, with five more phases set to launch later. The first mainnet phase deploys the security chain, an essential part of any platform’s operations. In this stage, the main focus is setting up the necessary security measures to back up all the platform features, such as staking, farming, and airdrops. Furthermore, it strives to establish a safe atmosphere where users and developers can confidently engage with the platform.

In addition to its use in governance and staking, SAGA, Saga’s utility token, functions as a native Cosmos token and pays network validators with Chainlets so that they can start and maintain the network’s operation. With an initial circulating quantity of 90,000,000 SAGA or 9% of the maximum token supply, the total supply of SAGA tokens is 1,000,000,000.

With an initial total token supply of 40,000 Saga tokens, the company plans to divide it as follows: 40,000 to investors and core contributors, 30,000 to the ecosystem and development, 15,000 to airdrops, and 10,000 to the foundation reserve. Binance Launchpool has also received 4.50% of the total.

Users can take part in the farming by staking BNB and FDUSD until April 12th using Saga, the 51st Binance Launchpool project that just began. There are more than half a million people currently taking part in the stakes for prizes.

Trading pairings for the SAGA token on Binance include SAGA-TRY, SAGA-USDT, SAGA-BTC, SAGA-FDUSD, and SAGA-BNB. In addition, the SAGA token is tradeable on other cryptocurrency exchanges.
