Coinbase Launches Global Crypto Exchange

Coinbase is one of the most important companies in the US cryptocurrency market. The exchange and its CEO, Brian Armstrong, have talked a lot about how unclear the rules are in the US for cryptocurrencies.

The exchange has chosen to expand to other countries. This is seen as a step toward putting part of the exchange’s global growth strategy, Go Deep, Go Broad, into action. From what we know, Coinbase has started up a foreign cryptocurrency exchange.

Coinbase Focuses on International Market

The exchange said it chose to go public in the US because it believe the country could accept fundamental innovation. But the company has decided to also focus on international markets. This is because many countries are trying to become crypto hubs.

According to the details, the new international exchange will allow institutional users based in the US to trade perpetual futures. Additionally, the exchange stated, “Building out a global perpetual futures exchange for digital assets will help support an updating of the financial system by making Coinbase’s trusted products and services more accessible to users of digital assets who live outside of the US.”

Coinbase International Exchange will have a robust risk management system and high customer protection. The exchange added futures contracts for BTC and ETH earlier today. All deals are settled in USDC. The contracts will also have 5x leverage at first.
