Jupiter Expands into Mobile with Ultimate Wallet Acquisition

Jupiter, a decentralized exchange (DEX) platform on Solana, has acquired Ultimate Wallet, a provider of self-custody crypto wallets, for expansion.

Jupiter, an aggregator platform for decentralized exchanges (DEX) based in Solana, has announced the acquisition of Ultimate Wallet, a provider of crypto wallets with self-custody features. Jupiter plans to expand into mobile with this acquisition.

The business’s goal is to attract “tens of millions of users” via mobile channels. The DEX exchange processes more than $10 billion worth of transactions every week, making it the largest DEX platform on Solana.

Just a few weeks remain before Jupiter’s beta release, set for May.

“Our main focus is a simplified user experience, similar to an automatic car,” the DEX exchange said on X, describing its vision for a mobile version of its DEX platform. Gas, slippage, or retrying your transactions are all examples of how Auto-Config simplifies things.

According to the business, they can give customers “the best experience possible” (i.e., no fees) by concentrating on Solana and Swapping.

The business boasts that Ultimate Wallet is among the “best DeFi mobile apps” and that it would “turbocharge” Jupiter Mobile by utilizing the resources of the non-custodial wallet provider.

The DEX exchange stated on X that Jupiter Mobile is an important component of their strategy to speed up the meta by attracting a certain percentage of the population to utilize cryptocurrency.

But the Ultimate Wallet crew was all smiles when they announced the purchase, hailing Jupiter as “Solana’s most prolific team of shippers.”

Because our values are so compatible, Jupiter is going to be Ultimate’s wonderful future home. Ultimate stated on X that they have designed their two solutions to provide users with the fastest and best on-chain trading experience on Solana.

An X article states that as of May 22, 2024, Ultimate Wallet will no longer support the Ultimate App. The business assured users that their assets would remain safe and that they could continue using the wallet as usual until then.
