Attendees can personalize NFI-integrated t-shirts, connecting them to digital assets via a preloaded Neo wallet.
Neo will be present at the forthcoming Paris Blockchain Week conference, which will be held at the Carrousel du Louvre in France from April 9th to the 11th. Neo’s founder, Da Hongfei, will deliver a keynote address entitled “Rethink Layer 1.”
In addition, the Neo booth will showcase the activation of a non-fungible object that utilizes the technology of object systems. This initiative is a collaboration between AxLabs and community development entities (COZ).
Guests can participate in a tactile creative experience at the Neo exhibit by customizing an NFI-integrated t-shirt.
The shirt allows participants to showcase their artistic prowess through fabric markers to personalize it.
Subsequently, on-chain attributes, including an artist’s name and photograph, are assigned to the shirt’s digital counterpart. By fusing an NFI button to each T-shirt, the garment will be connected to the digital and physical domains.
Furthermore, a preloaded Neo wallet is included with every t-shirt, allowing users to oversee their digital assets.
To secure a spot in the experience, attendees must arrive early to secure one of the limited quantities of available shirts.
Under its live operation on the Neo MainNet, this NFI activation will demonstrate the incorporation of technology into routine occurrences.
At this time, the cryptocurrency subreddit user Tyler Adams, CEO of COZ, is conducting an AMA wherein he responds to inquiries concerning the Paris Blockchain Week event and NFI technology. Questions will be accepted until April 9, the first day of the conference.
Neo’s “Phygital” Activation
At key conferences, this is Neo’s fifth foray into blockchain-based “phygital” activations.
In the past, audiences were captivated by the cryptocurrency’s pectoral activation at Consensus in Austin and Token2049 in Singapore in 2022, as well as the OneBand during the conferences above in 2023.
By enabling participants to interact with physical objects that interfaced with NFTs, these activations demonstrated the utility of blockchain technology in the real world.
The event garnered over 8,500 participants from 75 countries in its previous iteration; organizers anticipate over 10,000 for this year’s occasion.
Da Hongfei, the founder of Neo, will be among the notable speakers at the conference.
Jeremy Allaire, the CEO of Circle; Richard Teng, the Chair of the European Securities and Markets Authority; and Blaise Matuidi, a former football sensation, are also scheduled to speak.
Furthermore, John Wang, the head of the cryptocurrency EcoGrowth, has been invited to serve as a juror for the hackathon competition’s Demo Day.
