Pro-XRP Attorney Teases Major Announcement

On Friday, John E. Deaton, the attorney representing over 75,000 XRP token holders in the Ripple Labs vs. U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawsuit, will make a significant announcement.

Deaton has provided three clues regarding the upcoming major announcement, which appears to be connected to the XRP Ledger and Ethereum (ETH) ICO.

In response to a request from his acquaintance JungleincX, pro-XRP attorney John Deaton divulged information regarding Friday’s major announcement.

Deaton did not disappoint the XRP community by revealing three hints a photograph of himself perusing papers, the XRPL, and the ETH ICO.

It confirms that the major announcement is connected to a significant development in the U.S. SEC v. Ripple Labs case. He is likely to have early Ethereum adviser Steven Nerayoff on CryptoLawTV to discuss his startling allegations regarding Ethereum’s initial coin offering (ICO) and SEC corruption.

Recent attacks by Steven Nerayoff against US authorities, including the SEC, have generated enthusiasm in the XRP community.

He will also explain why XRP is not a security, given that Ripple did not conduct an ICO to profit from the funds raised for the expansion of the XRPL. Validators, not Ripple, are in charge of administering it.

In addition, no investment contract between an XRP purchaser and Ripple would satisfy the Howey Test. Ripple executives, led by CEO Brad Garlinghouse, traveled to Washington, D.C., to confer with members of Congress about proposed crypto bills.

Outside the SEC building, Garlinghouse and chief legal officer Stuart Alderoto shrugged. Ripple executives criticized the SEC and its chairman, Gary Gensler, for ignoring the court’s orders and placing themselves above the law.

Currently, the price of XRP is $0.50, down 1% over the past 24 hours and up 3% over the past week.
