Sabre56, a Bitcoin mining hosting provider and digital asset mining consultancy, has announced a significant hosting deal with GEM Mining, an institutional-grade Bitcoin mining company.
The agreement entails Sabre56 hosting 4,510 BTC miners that belong to GEM in its newly constructed facilities in Wyoming.
Most miners will join the network in June, with the remainder joining in May.
This transaction signifies a significant turning point in Sabre56’s transition from consulting on mining projects to building and hosting its facilities.
Phil Harvey, the chief executive officer of Sabre56, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership with GEM Mining, highlighting their shared values and commitment to advancing the mining industry.
Harvey stated, “Sabre56 is rapidly implementing a strategic shift to construct full-service hosting facilities with the highest technical and environmental standards… This initial placement of 4,510 machines by GEM Mining demonstrates our capacity to support the market’s most established players and deliver industry-leading hosting solutions.”
John S. Warren, CEO of GEM Mining, echoed the sentiment and emphasized the significance of locating a partner that operates as efficiently as Sabre56.
Warren remarked, “We’re thrilled to host our machines with a company with such exceptional capabilities.”
According to a press release from Bitcoin Magazine, Sabre56 and GEM Mining are committed to environmentally responsible growth, with Sabre56’s facilities complying with stringent regulations.
The announcement states that the data centers are designed for maximum energy efficiency, and the companies collaborate with utility providers to enable load shedding to benefit the grids they operate on.
