Following a goodwill message to the worldwide Shiba Inu army on New Year’s Eve, the official account of the second most valuable meme cryptocurrency on X market capitalization cautioned users to exercise extreme caution when clicking on links.

The Shiba Inu account tallied the outcomes of 2023 in a tweet published today, stating, “2023 was about exploring new territories.”

Nevertheless, the tweet declared that the group aims to “propel SHIB to the pinnacle of success” in 2024. They suggested that SHIB would serve as the “space dog” for this journey.

A significant warning followed that. The tweet cautioned the SHIB community regarding fraudulent links that appear to be shared by the official team for different events and are in the comments section beneath the thread.

Users were cautioned by the SHIB account to select trustworthy links exclusively. They were encouraged to verify suspicious links through the official SHIB website and their respective brand channels.

According to information disclosed by the Shibariumscan platform, the Layer 2 solution developed by the Shiba Inu team for its network triumphantly surpassed a new milestone over the weekend as the blockchain entered 2024.

Currently, Shibarium has processed a cumulative total of 325,936,085 transactions, including over 10 million transfers.

There has been a decline in the overall volume of daily remittances, which has decreased from 7.51 million on December 29 to 5.78 million at present. As of Saturday morning, Shibarium had processed over 7 million transfers since Friday.

The rate at which blockchain addresses associated with Shibarium are expanding is considerably reduced, with an average daily addition of 100 wallets.
