Solana Labs has said that its Saga smartphone, which is focused on cryptocurrency, will come out on May 8. The company that made the groundbreaking device has also said that pre-ordered phones are already being sent out.
Because cell phones are becoming more critical in the tech business, making one that can handle cryptocurrency would be interesting. So, almost ten months after the blockchain company teased the idea, the start date has finally come.

Solana Labs Crypto Smartphone Set to Launch
Solana Labs has confirmed that the Saga, its cryptocurrency-ready smartphone, will go on sale on May 8. On the other hand, the company has revealed the release and pre-ordered devices are now being sent out.
CoinDesk said that some workers at “Solana-Focused companies” noted that the change was risky. In particular, the new smartphone is a bet that mobile will be an essential part of the future of cryptocurrencies. On the other hand, the idea should still become an exciting part of how the business changes over time.
Solana Labs had first hinted that a smartphone focusing on cryptocurrency would emerge almost ten months ago. The mobile device can also be used as a crypto hardware bank, opening many doors for the industry.
OSOM, a company in the Bay Area that makes smartphones, makes the Solana Saga phone, which costs $1,000 and can be bought now. It also has 512 GB of storage, a back camera lens, and an OLED display with a fingerprint reader that is 6.67 inches in size. The Android running system will already be on the gadget when it ships.
