Tenet Unveils Mainnet Launch Roadmap

Tenet unveils its mainnet launch roadmap, which emphasizes its phases and the accessibility of Lightyears, the project’s incentive token.

In order to unlock liquidity and enhance returns, Tenet (TENET), a layer 1 blockchain for Liquid Staking Derivatives (LSDs), has released its mainnet launch roadmap. The strategy delineates the launch process into various phases, with the first phase set to occur in the coming weeks.

Lightyears, the project’s incentive token, will be available for acquisition throughout the first two phases of the project. This includes customers who have used their mainnet or testnet in the past.

As it receives value from initiatives within the blockchain ecosystem, this token will also direct the movement of value around the network. At the same time, their token will keep serving as the gas token for the network and will be used for network security and governance.

As a first step in the rollout, they will reward customers who switch from certain LRT protocols with points. At first, certain parameters pertaining to Tenet consumption would be used to decide how Lightyears are to be distributed.
Users from all walks of life are involved, including those who took part in the testnet, those who are stakeholders and use the Eva wallet, those who were quick to embrace cross-chain bridges, and those who interact with partner protocols that are part of the Tenet network.

Decentralized exchanges (DEXes) and a stablecoin solution backed by LRT will be among the partner protocols implemented on the Tenet network during the second phase of the incentive structure’s progressive transformation.

After the distribution of Lightyears is finished, the third phase will begin, and that’s when the Interstellar token generation event (TGE) will transfer incentives to the community.

Improved Liquid Staking Derivative Utility from Tenet

To make liquid staking derivatives more useful, the Tenet Protocol was created. Designed with LSDfi applications in mind, it operates as a network compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and built on the Cosmos SDK technology.

A number of updates followed their testnet launch earlier this year. The project has also worked with Galxe, a digital credential network and Web3 infrastructure, on a joint testnet effort.
