Twitter Allows Stock, Crypto Trading With eToro

Through its relationship with eToro, Twitter now lets people trade cryptocurrencies and stocks. Also, the move comes after news broke earlier this week that the two companies would be working together. At first, it lets people see the prices of stocks and cryptocurrencies in real-time.

The digital asset business and the social media platform have been slowly coming together. In particular, the platform released a feature in December that lets users look for a tick or coin sign to check prices. So, allowing people to trade stocks is the most recent result of these attempts.

It’s been interesting to see how Twitter and the digital asset business work together. Also, Elon Musk has been linked to the joke coin Dogecoin for a long time, so the social platform has been slowly adding features from the industry.

Twitter Allows eToro Crypto and Stock Trading

Through its ongoing relationship with eToro, Twitter now lets people trade cryptocurrencies and stocks. Since then, the social network and the investment site have allowed users to check prices and sell different assets.

CNBC said that the eToro relationship was unusual for Twitter, which Musk owns. On the other hand, this move helps him reach his goal of turning the platform into a “super app” that gives users a wide range of banking services.

Before it was turned on, users could use eToro’s Cashtag tool to view trading data from TradingView. The report also says that the collaboration wants to add a lot of different types of assets to the Twitter site. Also, the integration shows that Musk plans to use the site for more than just social purposes in the future.
