Arbitrum Foundation Opens Third Wave of Grants

Arbitrum Foundation is accepting applications for its third wave of grants, targeting early-stage teams to support growth within their ecosystem.

The Arbitrum Foundation, which oversees the expansion and upkeep of the Arbitrum (ARB) ecosystem, announced that it will be accepting applications for its third wave of grants starting on April 15 and running until the end of June. This news follows the conclusion of the second phase of the fundraising initiative on April 3rd.

Early-stage teams seeking support as they set out on their growth journey inside the Arbitrum blockchain ecosystem are the target audience for the Grants Program. Its goal is to recruit top-tier infrastructure providers to augment the network’s capabilities and promote the growth of the Arbitrum developer and user communities. This entails expanding the application of Arbitrum technology to a wider range of markets, applications, and project sizes.

Phase 3 will continue to focus on decentralized applications (dApps) while introducing grant tracks, a consistent process for awarding grants. Different funding tracks will divide projects based on their type, stage, and potential for growth. To improve equity and transparency in the grant awarding process, each grant track will have specified goals and a budget.

Projects that are a part of, enhance, or support the Arbitrum ecosystem are eligible to apply for funding through the Foundation Grants Program. But in Phase 3, the focus will be on decentralized application initiatives (dApps), including social networks, games, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), DAOs, and DeFi applications.

Grants Program Gives Up to $150,000 in ARB Tokens to Reward Both Big and Small Teams

Two different kinds of grants are offered by the Grants Program, each suited to the unique requirements and credentials of applicant teams. Small and medium-sized teams looking to launch their applications on Arbitrum and have proven experience in developing Web3 products and smart contract development are the target audience for the Growth Grant. The maximum amount of these grants is $50,000.

For larger teams looking to launch their projects on Arbitrum and have a proven track record of success in developing Web3 solutions, the program also includes the Advanced Growth Grant. These grants have a maximum cumulative value of $15,000.

The majority of awards typically range from $10,000 to $150,000 in ARB tokens.

The Grant Program is more likely to accept applications that include growth-oriented goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), demonstrate alignment with Arbitrum’s objectives, and provide a clear timeline for mainnet launch.
