Palm Collective and Polygon Labs have partnered to support artists at the NFT Paris Exhibition by hosting a creator contest with a $500 prize.

In order to support artists at the NFT Paris Exhibition, Palm Collective, and Polygon Labs have formed a partnership. The two businesses have teamed up to host a creator contest, where participating artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work and compete for a $500 Palm Foundation prize.

Polygon Labs’ NFT Paris exhibition, we nous sommes déjà rencontrés, a collaboration between The Sandbox and Web3 fashion label SYKY, will feature the works of the contest’s winners, as stated in the release. Starting on February 23, 2024, the event will end the next day.

Winners will be announced on February 23. The top three artists will each receive an invitation to the event and a+1. The artist with the highest votes will also receive the overall Open Call Winner Proof award. Call x Digital Art is a competition hosted by Polygon Labs’ PolyArts Community.

In order to be eligible for the grant, artists must mint their artwork on the Palm Network after connecting a cryptocurrency wallet and creating a Palm ID. After that, they follow the easy-to-follow instructions given by the PolyArts Community and upload their freshly-minted work.

A link to the NFT of their artwork that was created on Palm Network must also be included before it can be submitted to Palm Collective. The organizers of the contest have made it clear that the artwork must be completely original and never published on any blockchain. Additionally, artists are asked to reveal if they have employed any artificial intelligence in their creations.

Press materials released,  state that the contest submission deadline is 4:00 PM EST on February 16.

Artists can enter this contest to win a pair of Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, similar to Palm Collective’s Call X Design, which took place at EthDenver.
