Polkadot has launched Pink, a memecoin, to foster community engagement with the launch including an airdrop to parachain team.
It has been reported that Polkadot has launched its new community currency, which is called Pink. Pink is a memecoin designed to encourage engagement and growth within its ecosystem.
As Polkadot works toward further engaging its community and enhancing the spirit of collaboration inside the network, this project represents a significant milestone for the digital platform.
Polkadot Airdrops Parachain Team
An airdrop to parachain teams is scheduled to take place in conjunction with the launch of Pink. We intend this airdrop to represent a community-focused token distribution during the ecosystem’s development.
Throughout the ecosystem, equitable distribution is prioritized by the allocation strategy for the Pink cryptocurrency. Polkadot’s RGB color coding and a supply of 2.3 billion tokens inspired the creation of this program, which was developed to reward community members and contributors who are actively involved.
We have determined that parachains will receive around 12.5% of the total token supply, making 14 teams eligible for this airdrop. This step grants parachains the freedom to distribute their allotted PINK to users in a manner that aligns with their community goals and tasks.
Polkadot has provided financial support to create PINKDROP, a casual browser game that the Great Escape Game Studio built. The goal of Polkadot is to increase the amount of engagement within the community and familiarize users with the PINK token.
In addition to providing players with the opportunity to learn about parachain principles while engaging in dynamic gameplay, the game serves as an advanced entry point into the ecosystem.
The players must bring together the balls that symbolize the numerous parachains to produce a single entity that exemplifies the cohesiveness and synergistic potential of the network.
This approach to gamification not only educates users about the intricacy of the ecosystem but also motivates engagement by providing the game participants with a reward equal to 15% of the entire supply of PINK.
Meanwhile, Polkadot is preparing to broaden the scope of applications for PINK within its ecosystem, particularly in the gaming industry. The future update for PINKDROP will include adding a league mode featuring daily tournaments, and players will be able to earn PINK.
This enhancement will have the effect of attracting a greater number of participants and demonstrating that the token is suitable for incorporation into the game on Polkadot, which will, in turn, encourage communities to become more active.
In addition, a portion of the PINK token supply has been set aside to be distributed to various gaming communities, including those that are linked with Polkadot as well as those that are not.
This initiative aims to demonstrate the platform’s capacity to utilize blockchain technology for innovative gaming dynamics and to promote the usage of GameFi (gaming finance) and its growth within the Polkadot ecosystem.
