Ripple and Axelar Network have collaborated to integrate XRPL into Axelar’s platform, aiming to improve blockchain interoperability.
Ripple personnels including President Monica Long and RippleX Senior Vice President Markus Infanger, have expressed their satisfaction with the integrated Axelar Network platform that Ripple has developed.
The XRP community has also expressed approval of the agreement, praising its intention to enhance the capabilities of the XRPL in the blockchain realm.
To put it another way, this collaboration represents a significant step forward in improving the interoperability of blockchain technology, opening up new opportunities for cross-chain connectivity and functionality.
Ripple President Embraces Axelar Network
While integrating the Network with the XRP Ledger (XRPL), Ripple’s President, Monica Long, expressed her pleasure about the recent development.
She brought attention to the several advantages that this integration offers, including the facilitation of cross-chain decentralized applications (dApps) on the XRPL, the provision of liquidity for a variety of assets and the expansion of the XRPL’s capabilities across multiple blockchains.
On the other hand, Markus Infanger, the Senior Vice President of RippleX reiterated Long’s thoughts and emphasized the relevance of the relationship with the Foundation in enhancing the capabilities of XRPL.
He emphasized the shared vision of both organization in creating a seamlessly networked blockchain ecosystem, driving increased interoperability and connectivity.
In the meantime, the collaboration between the Foundation and Ripple represents a significant step forward in developing blockchain interoperability.
With the help of this agreement, which RippleX recently revealed in a blog post that the network intends to extend the interoperability of XRPL to more than 55 connected blockchains.
Strategic Collaboration With Axelar Foundation
Utilizing the General Message Passing (GMP) feature of XRPL, it will enhance its capabilities in decentralized finance (DeFi). Axelar’s security framework, which is based on permissionless proof-of-stake validation and risk-mitigation layers, guarantees the safety of asset transfers across a variety of blockchains.
Through its integration with XRPL, Axelar improves the scalability of cross-chain transactions, encouraging innovation and accessibility within the blockchain ecosystem.
In the meantime, David Schwartz, the Chief Technology Officer of Ripple stressed the revolutionary potential of expanded blockchain interoperability, particularly in spurring innovation within the DeFi industry.
In addition, he praised Axelar for its market-leading competence in integrating a variety of consensus algorithms, which enable users to have seamless experiences across blockchain networks.
While this was going on, Georgios Vlachos, who is a co-founder of Axelar Network, emphasized how important it is to connect XRPL to Axelar’s network to broaden the scope of Web3 compatibility.
He stressed Axelar’s dedication to developing a blockchain environment that is more linked and he emphasized the company’s utilization of Ripple’s XRPL to encourage innovation across many chains.
The integration of Ripple’s XRPL with Axelar Network, on the other hand, represents a crucial milestone in developing blockchain interoperability.
This collaboration enables enhanced functionality, scalability, and innovation within the blockchain ecosystem by bridging links between XRPL and various blockchain networks.
